The giant A, complete with light-up halo, was the Angel’s scoreboard when the stadium opened in 1966. The $1 million, 230 feet tall scoreboard was the largest built at the time.
The Big A was moved to it’s present location in 1980.

The 120-foot tall, 67,000-square-foot Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC).
ARTIC, which opened in 2014, can be light any color with the 1,354 lights glowing through the air-filled plastic pillows which make up the arched roof.

An earthen dam nearly 130 feet high and almost a mile long parallel to Alicia Parkway holds water in the lake that opened in 1978.

The field is named for Coach Bill Boswell who spent almost 40 years working with young athletes. He was a football coach for 19 years and then served as district athletic director.

Trees spout from the ground at Peltzer Pines Christmas Tree Farms in Silverado.
The patriarch of the family owner farm, Victor Peltzer, owned a 20-acre Anaheim plot and sold it to Walt Disney in 1954, who made it part of Disneyland. Victor Peltzer used the proceeds to buy several other plots in Orange County.

Christ Cathedral, formerly The Crystal Cathedral, in Garden Grove, is one of the largest glass buildings in the world.
The reflective glass building was completed in 1981 and seats 2,736 people.
The church was built by the late Rev. Robert Schuller who started as the pastor of California’s first „drive-in“ church, in Garden Grove.
The Garden Grove Community Church was founded in 1955 by Schuller and his wife Arvella and held its services in space rented from the Orange Drive-In Theatre.
Today the building is home to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange.
